Youp de Vos capitalised on a beautifully timed pitstop to win the second round of the Crown Racing Series at Fuji Speedway. De Vos, who finished sixth at Silverstone, switched back onto the wet tyres as the rain returned, allowing him to take victory from fifth on the grid with polesitter David Bozga coming home second. However after the stewards deliberated Both Youp and David received penalties, handing the win to Pedersen.

Ed's Pit Wall Note

Several on track incident meant that the Stewards have their work cut out, with several situations to investigate, the final classification will take some time to come out. The racing spectacle was nonetheless on full display with action all up and down the field. Witvoet had made a mockery of the Silverstone meeting, leading nearly every lap of the race from pole position, but Fiji proved to be a complete nightmare for the Dutchman.
